I have found Spear Mint, Chocolate Mint, Pineapple Mint, Lemon Mint, and this year I got Orange Mint plants at Home Depot. They are wonderful to cook with, and to put in salads or drinks!

Last year I planted spearmint (Milford, CT), and this year I am ripping out 2-3 ft long segments of shoots that are popping up all over the garden! Spreads quickly and intermingles with other plants' root systems. If you do plant it, put it in a large container.

Thanks for the advice. I will try that seed company.

I did find some mint at a local garden center but it was called 'Spearmint' which I found odd. I bought some and will see if it tastes like the mint I am looking for. I want it to use in Indian dishes.
